Shortcode “photo” takes positional arguments: 1st - link on image in quotemarks. 2nd - (optional) if image should link to something external, put an URL in quotemarks as second argument.
And there is also a possibility to insert a link to attached file. But first you shoul upload it somewhere, or put to the /static/files, for example.
